SpiderChip Xbox v1.6 Install Guide
Here's a quick overview of what I could see of the modchip so far, review will follow later.
The SpiderChip is the first solderless solution for the Xbox v1.6 (using springwires for LAD0-3 and LFRAME points). The device will also be solderless on Xbox v1.0-v1.5 (using the classic pogopins for all LPC points and a spingwire for D0). A
headerpin installation is also possible.
Flashsize of this gen3b chip is 256KB and it's preflashed with a cromwell flashbios compatible with Xbox v1.0-v1.6 that allows to flash the chip via CD and to lock/unlock the HD.
The SpiderChip is shipped in a solid metal box with good protection inside to protect the springwires. A screw and 2 spacers are also included. You also get an external adapter (installation is optional) that allows you to enable and disable the chip.
Suggested retail price is ~35USD.
